2011 Porsche 911 Targa 4 isa Carrera 4 Coupe with a unique all-glass roof

Porsche USA 911 Targa 4 is essentially a Carrera 4 Coupe with a very unique all-glass roof. The roof provides an experience similar to a convertible without the complexity of a folding roof and with better protection from weather elements. Even when it's closed, the roof offers up the sky to the 911's occupants, unlike a convertible. Like the entire 911 range, the Targa 4 was recently updated with a number of exterior improvements and a new engine. The 911 Targa 4 is powered by a new 3.6-liter flat-six engine, developing a maximum output of 345 horsepower for a top track speed of 176 mph. The new Targa 4 is available with Porsche's seven-speed PDK double-clutch automated manual gearbox. Offered as an alternative to the manual six-speed, the PDK features high speed shifts and superior fuel economy, all without a clutch pedal.
